DOOR > DESK > SOFA

These sofas were designed after we had come across a pile of door slabs from an architectural office in the process of relocating. The doors had been their desks. They gave us the desks thinking we would reuse them as desks. We instead decided to experiment with them to make economical sofas.

The basic models and diagrams are shown here. The exploded view shows a model that uses off-the-shelf Ikea cushions.
